Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GoJom! platform, including the website at letsgojom.com and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

GoJom! is a ride-coordination platform for mountain bike riders. It enables riders to post rides, find crew, manage join requests, and communicate with other riders. GoJom! does not operate, organise, or lead any of the rides listed on the platform. All rides are user-generated and user-led.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use GoJom!. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. GoJom! uses Google OAuth for authentication — you are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.

You agree to provide accurate information on your profile, including your riding level. Misrepresenting your skill level to gain access to rides you are not suited for may put yourself and others at risk and may result in account suspension.

You may not transfer, share, or sell access to your account.

4. Ride organisers

If you post a ride on GoJom!, you are the organiser of that ride. As an organiser, you agree to:

• Provide accurate ride information including date, location, difficulty, and discipline
• Only approve riders whose skill level is appropriate for the ride
• Communicate clearly with your crew about any changes to the ride
• Not collect payment from riders outside of the platform in a way that misrepresents the nature of the activity
• Comply with all applicable local laws governing outdoor activities, trail access, and group recreation

GoJom! is not responsible for the conduct, decisions, or actions of ride organisers. Organisers are solely responsible for the rides they lead.

5. Ride participants

By joining a ride on GoJom!, you confirm that:

• You have the skill level stated on your profile and suitable for the ride you are joining
• You are physically fit and capable of completing the ride
• You will attend if confirmed, or notify the organiser as early as possible if you cannot
• You will bring appropriate safety equipment, including a helmet
• You accept responsibility for your own safety and the decisions you make on the trail

6. Outdoor activity disclaimer

Mountain biking is an inherently risky activity. Participation may result in injury or death. GoJom! provides coordination tools only — we do not assess trail conditions, rider capability, equipment safety, or weather. You ride at your own risk.

GoJom! strongly recommends that all riders:

• Wear a certified helmet and appropriate protective gear
• Carry a first aid kit and means of communication
• Inform someone of their ride plan before setting out
• Ride within their ability level

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use GoJom! to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent ride information
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Impersonate another person or organisation
• Promote illegal activity, including trespassing or riding on unauthorised trails
• Spam or send unsolicited communications to other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users’ accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without permission

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

8. Content you post

You retain ownership of any content you post on GoJom!, including ride descriptions, photos, and messages. By posting content, you grant GoJom! a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Do not post content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes any third party’s rights.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoJom! and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to injury, property damage, or loss arising from rides coordinated through the platform.

GoJom! is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to other users or the platform.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@letsgojom.com.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of GoJom! after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
